The Extended GC Design Library - DECD contains error page templates for each of 401, 410, 500, and 503 error types in French, English, Bilingual, for desktop and mobile, and for the authenticated and non-authenticated spaces. The bilingual error pages are used when the website cannot determine the user's language preferences, and so the header and footer are removed from these pages.

4A Assessment

We altered 4 main existing error pages in the Extended GC Design Library - DECD, by creating versions for both the authenticated and non-authenticated spaces, using the proposed Service Canada headers. We also changed the text under 'What next' to link to either the Service Canada homepage (non-authenticated space) or the My Service Canada Account dashboard (authenticated space).
