Progress in the last month:

• Planning Committee approved CoverageJSON as an OGC Community Standard on 12 Dec 2022. No Issues

Outstanding Issues:

• for publication: Agree OGC names for JSON Schema
• discuss need for profiles
• investigate feasibility of tiled arrays being cacheable with relatively persistent URIs
• Investigate support for ensembles (categorical dimensions in Domain

Progress in the last month: Now a COmmunity Standard since 12 Dec 2022. No NO votes, or comments raised

Outstanding Issues:

• Agreed to copy all schemas, context files and namespace registry in http://schemas.opengis.noet/covjson/
• Agreed profiles are feasible, but need evidence of requirement/need. A Best Practice is also a feasible way forward. Three obvious restrictive profiles are:
  1. Restrict CRS to WGS84
  2. Restrict to a single self-contained JSON object (I.e. no URL links to payloads elsewhere
  3. Restrict Domain types

Outstanding Pull Requests: none

Compliance Test Suite: nothing

Other WG coordination: still need to discuss with Coverages SWG and DWG

Update other Documentation on GitHub:

• Agreed that guidance probably needed for custom or categorical dimensions (such as for ensembles), or custom CRSs (such as rotated poles)
