Welcome to the wiki of the ALAN Internationalization Project.

Here you can find and share tips and guidelines on how to to port the ALAN Library to new languages, by learning from the solutions adopted by others.

Every language poses its own challenges in terms of grammar and how to mimic the natural language in text adventures, and there's no better way to learn how to implement a new locale in ALAN then looking at how other developers solved these challenges with other locales.

This wiki is the right place to share tutorials on how these challenges were encountered and solved in the ALAN Interactive Fiction language, so feel free to share your own experience with other by creating new wiki pages or editing existing pages.

The wiki can be edited in the browser by anyone with a GitHub account.
