Meme Generator App

Welcome to the Meme Generator app! This app allows you to create and share memes with your friends. It was built using the React JavaScript library and the Imgflip API.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Before you get started, make sure you have the following tools installed on your machine:

• Git
• Node.js
• NPM (comes with Node.js)

Installation

To get started, clone the repository and install the dependencies:

git clone https://github.com/toonchavez8/19_Scrimba-MemeGen.git
cd travel-journal
npm install

This will download the source code and install all the necessary dependencies.

Development Mode

To start the development server, run the following command:

npm run dev

This will start the dev server on port 3000. You can view the app by navigating to http://localhost:3000/ in your browser.

Production Build

To build the app for production, run the following command:

npm run build

This will create a build folder with a production build of the app.

To run the production build locally, use the following command:

npm run preview

This will start a local server and serve the production build of the app.
