TAS Kit

USING THIS SOFTWARE YOU CANNOT CALL ANY RECORDED RUN LEGITIMATE (100% TAS) NOTE THAT SOFTWARE CHANGES THE GAME BEHAVIOUR/STATE, RANDOM SEED

VScript tools for implementing TAS in Left 4 Dead 2

Note: The core of TASK is Library of Utils which greatly expands the possibilities in scripting

Installing

Download the release archive, place tas_kit.vpk and finales_hook_master.vpk in Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/ folder

You can use remove_timer.vpk add-on to hide Timer during demo playback

Place main.nut file in Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/scripts/vscripts/ folder

Find sm_input_emulator.smx plugin (needed for Auto Climb) in the archive and place it in your SourceMod folder with plugins

HTML files placed in docs folder: description of functions, chat commands and name of items/weapons

Main file / Point of entry

During restart of speedrun main.nut file will be executed, see the comments in the file to clarify how to work with it

Two ways to (re)start speedrun: chat command !restart or via bind bind b "script RestartSpeedrun()"

Toggle some features through arrays only

g_bAutoClimb (33 elements, true)

g_bAutoShove (33 elements, true)

g_iClimbDirection (33 elements, 1): 0 - disable moving, 1 - move up, 2 - move down

Example:

g_bAutoClimb[hPlayer.GetEntityIndex()] = false;

Totally Legit Scripts (TLS)

Includes Aimbot, Ragebot, AutoStrafer, Auto Bunnyhop

Inclusion of all TLS functionality

Global variable g_bTLS is responsible for using TLS functions (false by default)

Enabling:

g_bTLS = true;
