The Braided Channels research collection includes materials collected on Australia women, land and history in the Channel country. The collection is constructed from some 70 hours of oral history interviews with women from Australia's Channel Country, together with archival film, transcripts, photos and music. It includes both audiovisual recordings and transcripts of interviews.
This collection was previously accessible online via the Australian National Corpus (AusNC), an initiative managed by Griffith University between 2012 and 2023.
The original dataset is available on LDaCA - Braided Channels and licensed under CC BY-ND 3.0 AU.
Please notice that researchers may contact the data steward Trish FitzSimons to request use that is outside of the limitations of the license.
This repository only includes all transcripts materials (.pdf
, .txt
, .doc
files) from their corresponding video recordings under Braided-Channels
.
