Visual Inspections for Factory Floor Accelerator

Unified Edge(Light Edge Technologies)

This Visual Inspections workshop is oriented for Factory Floor users, during this workshop they will be able to test and learn technologies based in their use cases and after this custom training they will be able to move to a production ready solution with a clear path.

This is not a production ready solution. It was built with the intention of learning and accelerate the Digital Transformation in factory Floors.

This accelerator doesn't not require developer skills, you will learn by doing supported for Microsoft Cloud Solution Architects along the way.

Delivery:

Pre-session:

  • Identify use case for the workshop in your factory floor and collect pictures with your cell phone so we can use it to train the model.

  • Acquire hardware, it is cheap and the list you will find it in amazon, you might already have all the items because they are very common.

  • Azure Access, validate that you have access to an Azure Subscription with the right priviledges to create some resources you will need for the session.

Day #1:

  • Collect the pictures of your use case.
  • Complete the section Before HoL Steps

Day #2:

  • Complete the steps in the section HoL Visual Inspection HoL Custom, set up your Raspberry pi. Set up Custom vision portal and your project, tag the images and train the model.
  • Complete all the steps until trigger the Build solution in Visual Code, you will leave it running at the end of the day to continue the following.

Day #3:

  • After the Build is complete, you will push the solution to the device and test it with your camera connected end to end, you will see the predictions and the picture the camera is taking and analyzing.
  • Discuss path to production.

Hardware & Software requirements for the Accelerator

The following requirements will be for your Raspberry pi set up

2. Azure Services:

  • Azure IoT Central
  • Custom Vision
  • Azure Container Registry
  • Storage Account
  • Virtual Machine(Dev Environment)

3. Other Tools:

To start your journey you can continue to the section Instructions/Before HoL Steps.
