Security Policy

Reporting a Vulnerability

Thank you for your interest in the security of our project. If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability in the Deep Learning-Based Scene Classification project for VHR Satellite Imagery, we encourage you to report it to us.

Reporting Process

  1. Email: Please send an email to geoaihub@gmail.com with the subject line "Security Vulnerability Report."

  2. Include Details: In your report, please provide a detailed description of the vulnerability, including:

    • A brief summary of the issue.
    • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability.
    • Any supporting materials such as screenshots or proof-of-concept code.

Response Timeline

We are committed to addressing security vulnerabilities promptly. Once we receive your report, we will follow these general timelines:

  • Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 14 business days.
  • Investigation: Our team will investigate and validate the reported vulnerability.
  • Resolution: Once the vulnerability is confirmed, we will work to address it.
  • Public Disclosure: We will coordinate with you to establish an appropriate timeline for public disclosure, considering the severity and complexity of the issue.

Responsible Disclosure

We appreciate your responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities. Please refrain from sharing the details of the vulnerability publicly until we have had an opportunity to address it.

This project follows a coordinated disclosure model. We believe in working with the security community to protect our users and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
