EuroSciPy is a cross-disciplinary conference focused on the use and development of the Python language in scientific research. This event strives to bring together both users and developers of scientific tools, as well as academic research and state of the art industry. It gathers around 250 scientists from academia (students, researchers, professors) as well as scientists from the industry. The conference features two days of tutorials (with a beginner and an advanced track), two days of scientific talks and satellites meetings.

The EuroSciPy conference was initiated in Leipzig in 2008 and 2009. In 2010 and 2011 it moved to Paris, then to Brussels in 2012 and 2013, and Cambridge in 2014 & 2015:
