Cross sync is a new browser extension made with JavaScript that implements the syncing of browser data like history across multiple different browsers. Just sign up for the service using the extension, and you will have an account! After that, just install the extension on any other browser and log in using your credentials and your data will be there!

Features:

  • Extension made using JavaScript and bootstrap CSS for UI
  • Using remote Postgres database to store user data securely
  • Cross compatible between chromium browsers and Firefox

Todo:

  • Allow syncing of other data like bookmarks, cookies, etc.
  • Implement end-to-end encryption to encrypt the data from the client to the postgres server to added privacy
  • Better UI
