Urban Demographic Variability

Contains code to download, process, analyze and visualize WorldPop age-sex data for all urban settlements. 2000-2020 for over 13,000 urban polygons

  • Read in WorldPop data, extract urban settlement counts
  • Merge all age-sex groupings together
  • Generate demographic statistics and calculate migration/natural change through time
