THchs30 Mixture (THM) Scripts

These scripts are used to generate the THM, a tiny dataset for speech separation task. It is derivied from the mandarin dataset THCHS30 and noise dataset WHAM!48kHz noise dataset. THM contains 4000 samples for train, 800 for dev and 2000 for test. Scripts are based on WHAM and wsj0-mix.

wham_scripts need to be placed under this folder. Unzip file and put it under the folder, do not make any change.

How to use

To generate wav files, you also need to place high_res_wham (can be found on wham website) and THCHS30 under this folder. Script to generate wav files:

./local/createMixture.py

Folder should look like this:

THM
|--high_res_wham
|--local
|--THCHS30
|--wham_scripts
|--gen.sh

You can use:

./gen.sh --stage 2 --src 2

to generate wav file using default json. Mixed audio will be placed in ./mix. Folder mix_clean contain mixed audio with NO noise, like wsj0-mix, wav files under mix_both are noise added.

Default json files are placed under local/metafile. If you want to gen your own dataset, scripts can be found under:

./local/genRecipe.py

or type:

./gen.sh --stage 1 --src 2 --n_tr 4000
./gen.sh --stage 1 --src 3 --n_tr 4000 --n_pre -1 --n_sp 3
./gen.sh --stage 1 --src 4 --n_tr 4000 --n_pre 5 --n_sp 5

to generate a new 2/3/4 speakers mixture json file.

Feature

  • noise mixed
  • support any number of speakers
  • both single and multi-channel mixture

Schedule

  • 2020/10/31: Have a plan.
  • 2020/11/1: Finished 2spk-min-8k-gen.
  • 2020/11/9: Support 3 speakers mixture.
  • 2020/11/14: Refactor code, now support any #spks mixture.
  • 2020/11/14: add a bash script.
  • 2021/4/8: add support for multichannel
