A collection of scripts I use in my PC setup when booted into Windows.

AutoHotKey

Within Windows AutoHotKey is a great tool for automating different actions. Many of my scripts for Windows use AHK for function and trigger, so if using these please ensure you have AHK 1.1.x installed (https://www.autohotkey.com/download/). AutoHotKey scripts are easily distinguished by the .ahk filetype.

Windows Tiling

• Scripts to arrange active windows into a tiled layout.
• Associate to a shortcut within the bottom of the script, or call this from another holding hotkeys.
• Values not static, monitor size is auto detected (thanks to shinywong http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/69464-how-to-determine-a-window-is-in-which-monitor/?p=440355)

Outlook to Moo.do

• There is no integration between these two applications.
• The goal is to automate the input of Outlook emails to actions in Moo.do.
• Outlook does not support linking in, so Email Subject will be used as reference.

When in Outlook reading the email you wish to add as a task, run the hotkey. The hotkey is scoped to only Outlook (ahk_exe OUTLOOK.EXE).

The hotkey will run the following process of steps:

1. Copy email info from Outlook (of active email conversation)
2. Strip out common headings (headings of email list are also copied)
   • Subject, From, Recieved, Categories
3. Switch to Moo.do window (currently needs to be already open)
4. Add new item, filling in details, leaving user to enter Task title
   • Project Email Inbox is default, but can be changed in the AHK or Moo.do UI for one-offs
   • Email info is entered into Notes field
5. User saves
