Discoveries
This version marks the release of Discoveries. This section of the dashboard allows science teams to publish guided narratives to tell a compelling story of a changing planet. (#155, #439)
The section launches with discoveries about Air Quality, Climate, Water Quality and Changing Landscapes. The stories rely on the existing data products in the platform, but also pull in layers that are specifically produced for this story.
The new release also introduces a new visualizations option to show map data as small multiples.
The multi map visualization allows for easy comparison of multiple images over the same area
