py-elastica-plotter

Open-source Python deflection curve plotter based on Leonhard Euler and Jakob Bernoulli theory for elastic lines.

Requirements:

Exact requirements provided by python -m pip freeze are saved in requirements.txt

• Python 2.7

Run:

python python-2.py / python2.7 python-2.py

Current version:

Future ideas:

• add stress curve
• pack into single executable
• add force quiver
• allow data export

Known bugs:

• on macOS Catalina window needs to be resized after load for icons to appear
