Image and pdf support has been added. Currently available image formats: png, jpg, jpeg, bmp. In order to use these you have to make a new category or add the wanted extension to an existing language category. Furthermore you will receive a notification if a file has whitespaces in it (texmaker can't compile if a file path has whitespaces in it).
