Issue

The current library being imported to provide bindings to hzeller/rpi-rgb-led-matrix is not actively being maintained. It would be nice to gain control over versioning of such a critical library to the project, and have the ability to expand on current capabilities as needed

Also it would simplify stuff like configuration
