I'm experiencing the following failure when trying to start the application via dotnet UVtools, ./UVtools.sh or ./UVtools

Unsure what I need to be looking for in order to resolve this particular dependency. I'm using the latest RHEL release. Any help is appreciated.

I'm working from the RHEL release v2.26.0

I've followed the steps outlined in the README, but have run into the following error after initiating ./cmake_configure

You are trying to compile the OpenCV that's it?
What commands are you running?

I've installed all necessary deps & ran the commands outlined to build the dependancies under the emgucv directory (which I've created under UVTools, and cloned the repo to--as directed in the example).

Either target .NET 5.0 or lower, or use a version of the .NET SDK that supports .NET 6.0. [/home/smaee/Source/UVtools/emgucv/Emgu.CV.Test/Emgu.CV.Test.Netcore/Emgu.CV.Test.Netcore.csproj]

That mean you have .NET 6.0 which is out of requirements, you need NET 5.0. But this compilations are not required, what you need is already generated: [ 92%] Linking CXX shared library ../../../../../libs/libcvextern.so --> That is all you need now, copy that file to UVtools directory

I tried it using the saved libcvextern.so file I previously made and that didn't work so I redid the whole process, but also with no luck.

What was the process of linking libraries referenced to earlier under Ubuntu? Is that relevant here, or no?

But do you tried the newest release of UVtools? If rhel package dont work can you try the linux package?

You can identify the problem of what is missing, but i can't help much on that area since i have no big experience in linux. You can try with ldd but mostly it can return all ok

Progress. The above symbolic link referenced seems to have solved the missing library issue. I'm now having an issue with segfaults exclusively in the compiled binaries. Starting fresh with newest versions & will report back. I may open another issue regarding it.
