Margins can't be changed after document has been created

I'm using Scribus 1.5.8 (release from official Ubuntu 22.04 repo.).

After creating a new document, I open the Document Setup/Margins & Bleeds and change the Margins.

This change is not propagated to the document. The only way I found to apply the new margins is to create a new document.

I haven't checked other settings being ignored/applied only when a new document is created but for example, changing the Units in Document Setup/General does have an immediate effect (as it should).
