Behavior with boolean input

It seems that scatter_sum can take a boolean tensor as input and behave like scatter_or. That is scatter sum returns True if at least one element is True.
I wonder if this behavior is stable or may break in some corner cases.
Judging by the Cuda implementation, no special consideration is taken to handle boolean tensors.
