La National Gallery di Washington ha un canale Api. Anche in questo museo le opere hanno una Exhibition History e addirittura ti permette di fare quello che cercavo di spiegarti oggi: ti fa vedere le opere esposte nell'Esposizione. Ecco un esempio di risultato di ricerca:

Questo museo è chiaramente attivo nel fornire dati aperti. Hanno cose interessanti su GitHub su https://github.com/NationalGalleryOfArt/opendata

Devo studiare un po' di più su come funziona.
