A 0.4.2 desktop user was unable to export a CSV of the 2020 turnstile data. Here are the steps we walked through.

  • User had previously added nyc-transit-data/turnstile_daily_counts_2020 from April 25th, /ipfs/QmXD8wg5HBDM8o6uVFoh7xKvpdE8nnSBuycFMs5AN2z4Sw
  • Removed, added again using the add modal, Desktop UI reflected the same commit from April 25th even though there are two newer commits.
  • Quit Desktop and re-launched, the dataset showed the correct latest commit /ipfs/QmPiMitekmDsFuX7C19QC2LSdw4RQWxBapLFBSNZGeCp5N but there was nothing in the history list ("This dataset has no prior commits")
  • Removed, re-added, quit, relaunched, same issue. User can preview the commit, but since there is nothing in the history list, they cannot export.

This is a consequence of qri-io/qri#1483, and we need to fix logbook in order to make this work correctly.
