Use logger instead of system print statements

Options

Type Name Description
Boolean addLogger Optional. Add a logger field to the class if it isn't already present.
String loggerName Optional. The name of the logger to use when generating a field.
String loggingFramework Optional. The logging framework to use.

Usage

This recipe has no required configuration options. It can be activated by adding a dependency on org.openrewrite.recipe:rewrite-logging-frameworks:2.0.1 in your build file or by running a shell command (in which case no build changes are needed): {% tabs %} {% tab title="Gradle" %} {% code title="build.gradle" %}
