build failed using vite, please help

I'm not sure it's zustand's issue or vite or immer

this is my store file in project

nothing abnormal in development mode, but throws a critical error while building....

@hcygit that's expected since immer is a peer dep. You have to install immer package in order to use it with zustand

For some reason i had

"peerDependenciesMeta": {
        "@types/react": {
          "optional": true
        },
        "immer": {
          **"optional": true**
        },

if you change optional to false and then install it will work.

@pchodak immer is an optional dep, if you are planning to use immer middleware you have to install immmer
