I feel foolish enough asking, but I'm getting mixes responses on discord and reddit. Is it possible? Device part number is: 3Q0035846 I don't have access to an OBD11 and I'm just doing it to one car. Can I install the tool box to enable car play and android auto without it? I was hoping there would be like a raspberry pi way with gpios or com port way.. or even open up the headunit way( last resort). I just don't want to buy a license for something I'll use once, especially for an old car. |

You can install toolbox, but unfortunately if you can't enable green menu it's useless because you can't use it. Fortunately you can use ready patch for your unit, download this and update your unit with it. |
