Can you possibly add the support to login via Wechat?

Wechat is the top1 communication and social platform in China and some other Asian countries which covering +90% of the smartphones in China and seen as people’s daily life tool. This will also enable developers to reach more than 549 million users. ( as you know Facebook and Twitter is not accessible in China).

Thanks a lot

@nraboy are you currently looking into this? Otherwise I can try to take a look as well as I have a use case for this,

Given my limited availability I only contribute bug fixes and enhancements to the project. I have been relying on the community for new features.

Given that information I encourage you to add the feature and submit a pull request.

I thought this is the appropriate place to comment this;

I'm looking for a way to implement an SNS that's not on the list(if successful, contribute it here of course), but have no clue where to get started since I have almost never modified public plugins.

If your time allows you, could you tell me where to start or any specific tips on this plugin?(Although I think I'm supposed to look into source code and figure out by myself..)

The plugin is very modular. If you look at the source code and see how the other providers were implemented, I have confidence that you'll be able to figure it out.

Best,

I did indeed! I'll clean it, make it more generic(not specific to my project) and make a pull request. Thank you for reply!
