Eclipse difficulty was created as a difficulty that tries to do away with the naïve balancing changes previously added by the people in charge of the direction of the game. It strives to provide a vastly different experience compared vanilla death sentence by providing the player with a new toolset and designing the enemies in a completely different way.

General Changes

  • Streamlined Hesting Changes
  • Only 100 skillpoints
  • Assault tweaks
    • Longer fade timers
    • Drama scales a lot less for non-solo lobbies
    • Increasing the assault phase timer with a hostage has been moved to control instead of anticipation
    • Control time has been decreased (can be increased with a certain skill)
  • Removed civilian trade penalties
  • Cops have a movement speed multiplier of 15% when walking and 7.5% when running
  • Grace period of 0.05s (0.35s after armor break and 0.25s after dodging)
  • Tasers and cloakers will now aggress at much further distances
