Playback-Controller

A Blender add-on to control your Spotify playback from within Blender!

Play, pause, skip, rewind, shuffle, play a playlist, whatever!

  • Display currently playing song 🎧
  • Play / Pause ⏯
  • Skip / Rewind ⏩
  • Control looping and shuffling 🔀

Menus containing:

  • Your most recent playlists 📼
  • Your liked albums 💿
  • Your liked artists 🎼

Allowing you to start playing their music with one click!

Requirements

UltraPattern was built using Blender 4.0.2, but it is hopefully compatible with most modern versions of Blender
Compatibility cannot be 100% ensured, so if you encounter an issue related to Blender version, or any other issue, please report it using GitHub issues!

Please note that as of 9:34 PM 12/29/2023, no YouTube video is avalible. Sorry!

  • Download the add-on from the Releases page: Playback-Controller
    • Do NOT unzip the file
  • In Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons and click on Install
  • Select the downloaded file, press Install Add-on
  • Click on the check box next to the text
  • Follow the steps listed within the addon to complete installation

FAQ

  • I don't have Spotify Premium, will this add-on work for me?
    The player panel will still display your currently playing song, but unfortunately, any user interaction (playing, pausing, etc.) will not work. This is a limitation of the Spotify API, and I wish it wasn't this way. Sorry!
