As of now, there is a lack of non-tech communities (maybe non-tech people find it hard to edit the README?) and communities from the west side of the island.

Plain and simple question.

Sure, Git makes it probably harder for non-techies to contribute to this, but what is the goal? I find the list is already a bit too broad

@danse , just to let you know that we have also developed isamuni, which will serve the purpose of aggregating tech communities and companies together. At the moment there is not much in the platform, but we will populate it soon.
