Unable to write RXD file with Dashboard Writer

I am new to InfluxDB and I am going through the initial setup instructions. I have successfully configured InfluxDB and Grafana. All my issues are with the Dashboard Writer tool. I tried running it as administrator (I am using Windows) and still have the same issues. The first step of configuring seems to work. I get a green completion bar and the config is visible in the userprofile configs file. Then, when clicking the "Run InfluxDB" button nothing happens and I get no feedback. Browsing to the local server address http://localhost:8086/ there is nothing. I need to manually start the server by running influxd.exe in powershell.

Then, when trying to write a single file I get the following error (french message but it says specified file not found):

I try to figure out what the issue is. Files instslled in wrong folder, language issue, etc. Can I bypass the tool using the Influx CLI?

Problem solved, ReXdeskConvert.exe had not been installed beforehand.
