Dendro Version if known (or site URL)

Version: dendro. v.1.0.0-beta Active Branch: master Commit: 16fe463 Date Tue Jul 23 11:48:14 2019 +0100

Please describe the expected behaviour

After having created a repository bookmark for the b2share repo, and having set the token, a dataset should have been uploaded on the test repo for b2share at https://trng-b2share.eudat.eu/user

Please describe the actual behaviour

The repository bookmark is created and the upload of the dataset fails with the error message: Folder identified by /r/file/fc6cbf3a-bc13-4e58-bd50-132f7fbf8d60 does not exist

Uploading the data in a local repository works fine, meaning the the folder actually exists

What steps can be taken to reproduce the issue?

Try to upload a dataset on b2share, using the docker image.

Another error message that could certainly be improved. Did you select a file in the file browser on the left before trying the dataset export?

Datasets are usually created from folders in Dendro (to allow for multiple files to be included in the finished dataset). I think the message appears because you are trying to deposit a single file instead of a folder.

Please try this:

  • Create a folder in the project
  • Double click the folder to navigate to it
  • Upload some files
  • Go up one folder
  • Select the folder you just created and where you uploaded the files into (should be marked in blue in the file browser)
  • Try exporting again as you did here.

Tell me how it went.

These seem to be related to changes in the api’s of the target repositories. We will take a look on our side and try to update the deposit code on the Dendro side.
