Got empty result while calling getLogs with ethers.js

Issue Description

I setup my own full node with op-geth running command:

    --op-network="op-mainnet" \
    --http \
    --http.port=8545 \

    --ws.port=8546 \
    --ws.api="web3,eth,net,personal,txpool,engine,admin" \

    --authrpc.addr="localhost" \
    --authrpc.jwtsecret="/root/op/conf/jwt.hex" \
    --discovery.port=30303 \
    --port=30303 \
    --verbosity=3 \

    --cache.blocklogs=1024 \
    --datadir="/data/op/execution"

Aftering the node synced, I call the eth_getLogs rpc endpoint by using ether.js like this:

let logs = await this.provider.getLogs({
    fromBlock: fromBlock,
    toBlock: toBlock
});

But the variable logs is empty for every block.
Is there anything wrong when I start op-geth? Or I just missed some necessary params in the command line above?

whats your from block and to block
and any logs from geth
and,although --syncmode and --gcmode already has default value,but better add it in the command

This is my test code:

can you check opgeth logs?
and http://192.168.1.206/optimism/api seems like a reserve proxy,can you confirm it has correct conf?(for example,eth_blockNumber or eth_getBlockByNumber with finalized block tag)

P.S. I did not see any syslog above the INFO level, and none rpc log found.

Can you try eth_getLogs with curl like above?

What version of ethers are you using? It should never return null; at worst it should return an empty array…

(Oh, sorry. Looks like that is the behaviour you’re describing. Please feel free to loop me in if you discover the root cause is an issue with ethers.)
