Player stops and will not restart audio

Macbook Pro (13" 2020)
1.4 GHz Quad-core i5
16GB RAM

When playing a song a the audio will stop if I open then close a tab that autoplays a Youtube audio/video in Google Chrome (Version 104.0.5112.101 Official Build x86_64). The playlist will continue to show the current song but audio will not play unless I start playing audio for another youtube video causing the audio to overlap. Changing channels or stop/starting the audio stream in SomaFM-miniplayer does not restart sound output. To resume station output I most close the miniplayer and reopen it, however the next time I click on a youtube link the issue will occur again. This does not happen with the web based player.

Steps to reproduce:
Note: Does not occur consistently this will generally start occurring after 25 or so tabs have gone through the reproduction process then the problem will persist.

1. Play a station in miniplayer
2. Click on a Youtube video link (resulting in new open tab)
3. When audio from youtube video starts Close tab
