  • Android version: 14 Lineage UN
  • Device: Redmi 12 5G
  • Delta Chat version: 1.46.7
  • Expected behavior: Switch to new Email from old (migrate), should display the actual data of the new email provider
  • Actual behavior: storage size does not change when moving to another email provider
  • Steps to reproduce the problem: moving to another email provider (migrate old to new, change email in old profile)
  • Screenshots:
  • Logs:
  • Note: Before moving to the new Email, I simply created a new profile on it. Then it displayed the correct storage settings for that new profile on the new Email. But when I switched to the old profile, and migrated to that new Email, the program hangs on the storage data of the previous Email, or keeps tracking it and showing it.
  • Fix: Stopping app from android app settings, and open again

account migration is a kind of hidden experimental feature, and this looks like a problem in the deltachat-core, I suspect it is nothing we can fix here in the Android side
