I have installed this and it found all my devices but I cannot add the IP address as I do not know where to find them.

They are not in the Eufy app, only the MAC address is there.

I have checked all devices connected to my router and none of them have the corresponding MAC address so I am very confused.

Any help appreciated.

I used the App "Fing" on my telephone. That scanned the local network and gave me the IP addresses and names of devices connected to the network. (inlcuding Robovacs)

Thanks but no joy. They all just say 'generic' so no idea what any of it is

Your DHCP service should have records of which IP was assigned to which device. Which DHCP are you using? Xfinity router or some personal one?

You can find the IP of the robot in your router settings, in most cases under the point DHCP. You can access the settings via the browser.
If you have a Fritz!Box just type http://fritz.box into the browser search bar. If you have a router from another brand just try it with 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 .

The password to access the router dashboard should be on the backside of the Fritz!Box or the router you have.

Same issue here - the MAC address of the device listed in the Eufy app doesn't match any device connected to my network... and scanning connected devices shows a load of UNKNOWN / generic devices so impossible to say which one is the Robovac...

Perhaps your device isn't connected to your wifi? That's strange to not see the MAC address anywhere in your router/network...

Can you control the robovac via the Eufy app?

I recommend to take a look in the DHCP settings in the router settings. Normally the device should be listed there… those kind of apps are working but also showing a lot of different things.

@johnstan if the robovac can be controlled with the eufy app it should be normally connected and also be listed in the network.

@rokimuc @rustymyers That's what I would have expected too... but I can indeed control it via the app, however (whether using Fing, NMAP, router admin panel, or any other method) there is NO device with the Mac address listed in the Eufy app at all...

The Eufy app shows the vacuum connected to your network above the MAC address?

Which brand is that router from?

@rustymyers Yes it does. Figured it out by brute-force trying all IP addresses on my network with 'unknown'... nothing doing. Then I saw one named 'Espressif' with a TOTALLY different Mac address to the Robovac and threw that one in for a laugh... turns out it was the one. But bizarre that the name indicates in no way that it's a Eufy product (or a Robovac) and that the Mac address so different is. Anyway, for anyone else who faces this (with a LR30 Hybrid+) then look for the 'Espressif' device in your network to find the IP!
