These are the tickets that were held over from v5.3.2 and v5.3.3, and need consideration for the following release:

  • Needs investigation of tighter unification between the testcase widget and the innerwiki widget
• add browser dark/light theme detection #7830
  • Needs investigation of the user interface for handling automatic dark mode
• Fix 7701 filtered transclusion fails if "}" follows somewhere in the text #7822
  • Rejected; see comment
• Remove full rebuilds for tag indexer with every keystroke or UI click #7615
  • Needs more evidence of efficacy
• Fix and extend tag picker functions  #7548
  • Rejected in favour of a deeper refactoring
• Simplify Permalink/Permaview URLs #7729
  • Needs further work; see comment

These are the PRs that were ready to merge after the freeze period for v5.3.2:

• Add start and end properties to WikiText AST nodes for all elements. #7866
• Improve command line logging #3704
• Allows whitespace-only macro/procedure to be closed by \end #7911
• fixes functions to use variables set by filter runs #7906

I wasn't paying attention, and didn't see this thread until just now. #7729 was reworked and replaced. I believe #7790 is complete.
