https://github.com/TheELNConsortium/TheELNFileFormat is based on RO-Crate and supported by many implementations, see TheELNConsortium/TheELNFileFormat#61 (comment)

We should promote it from https://www.researchobject.org/ro-crate-2024/profiles#electronic-lab-notebook-eln to make it a use case
