For my PR #237 , the PR is created by the account with the correct email but it seems that the commits were still associated with a different (personal) email of mine. I am creating this issue just to indicate that I am in fact the owner of both those accounts and please let me know if I need to do something else to proceed.

Hi, I also have the same issue. My commit was associated with my email, then I saw the updated README saying our commit email needs to be the same as our application email to trigger the automation. I then created another GitHub account to create a new PR (as suggested in README), but my original submission link does not allow me to submit a new URL as I've already submitted my assignment.

I did not receive any confirmation so I assume my PR did not trigger the automation flow. Please let me know if I can do anything to proceed with this. Thank you!

Here is a screenshot of how it looks like, I can't submit my new PR URL as I've submitted my old one:

Original PR: #169
New PR with the application email: #197

Hi @doublederek and @ronybesprozvanny, do you know what I can do to re-trigger my submission? I created a PR several days ago but it is not reviewed yet.

I'm also having a similar issue where I didn't realize my emails were private and utilizing Github's provided emails. I've since changed it and I'm waiting to see what I can do for my PR #961

I am running into the same problem, was not aware that the commits were associated with the old email attached to my account. All the commits are authored by me

Hey everyone! I ran into the same issue and I was able to find a fix. I'm not sure if I'm entirely correct but the main issue was my IDE connecting to my old account even though I was logged out. The credentials was still saved on my machine. I used vercel so I don't know how useful this will be for you guys. My old account also showed on my push as well even though it said I was signed in to new account on vercel on the bottom left.

Once I was able to change the IDE to connect to my new account through the terminal it still prevented me to push and it turned out my vercel didn't accept passwords anymore for github ( i don't know if it's cause i made a new account, cause the error kept saying this method was removed by github 2021) as a result i had to create a token and it worked. Feel free to send me a message as well, took me while to figure it out.

I tried a bunch of things out, here are some sources I used:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68775869/message-support-for-password-authentication-was-removed
https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/how-to-add-git-credentials-in-vscode/
@doublederek maybe you'll be able to give more insight
