Signing service is not available

Issue description

When I try and sync using the plugin, I get the message "signing service is not available", I use GPG to sign my commits and when I want to use this plugin I have to disable it just so I can sync stuff, I don't know if this is a bug but seeing as its impossible to sync without disabling the signing first I think it is, however if its not a bug but just not implemented please implement it.

How to reproduce this issue?

1. Set the workspace and the repo up
2. Enable OpenPGP signing using GPG (SSH isnt supported)
3. Try and sync
4. You will see the issue
