Transfer species level trait data to BCCVL

As a researcher
I want to transfer species level trait information to BCCVL
So that I can use the trait data in BCCVL models

Where there is occurrence level trait data this should already be available.

We need a mechanism to allow user to select the species they want trait data for and download a file and add to BCCVL.

i assume this will need a API from the ALA side and an API change on the BCCVL side as well?

Need to think about how a user would select that they want to add species level traits to a bccvl experiment. Is it through the list tool, the spatial portal, the BIE?

What trait data can BCCVL handle?

If we have multiple datasets with the same traits but different values should we supply: all, an average, allow the user to select?
